It’s Only Rock N Roll-But I Like It!
I dont normally post “personal” stuff to our company sites, but this deserves an exception.
Catherine and I were fortunate beyond wishes; we got lucky just getting the specially priced $85 tickets to begin with – THEN, when we got to Staples, WE WERE UPGRADED TO THE TONGUE PIT!
The concert was AMAZING! These guys are in their 70′s and (Mick in particular) didnt stop moving for 3 hours! Talk about stamina. No intermissions, special guests or ANY other distractions. They just played straight-ahead RnR like it really was their “last time”. Being the last concert in L.A., they could have had their pick of special guests etc… but they didnt.
Catherine has been a Stones fan(atic) since childhood, and has seen them a dozen or more times – her “dream” has been to see them in “The Pit”; so this was a very big nite for her. if you want to see more pics/vids of the concert go to her fb page https://www.facebook.com/catherine.montgomery1.
Not only were they close enuf to touch(except for the security people) but I happened to get a pic of the “Playlist” b4 the the concert started (a bit of a spoiler, i kno, but it was cool).

The Self-Repairing Pipe Screen
Yes, you read that correctly.

Now NOTHING is 100%, and major damage can only be repaired so far, but Titan Smokescreens are Specially Designed to fight damage and corrosion better than any other pipe screen. So they’re Safer Healthier and Longer Lasting.
Basically, the Chromium content in the metal reacts with Oxygen (either air or water) to create a CrO (ChromiumOxide) “film” layer that grows over the damaged area. Known as a Passive Oxidation Layer, think of it as “growing a new skin”. See the diagram below.

The White House Responds
Hi All -
Several months ago I sent an email to The White House about the prohibition on cannabis use; and President Obama’s actions versus his stated campaign positions.
Much to my surprise, I just received a reply on White House letterhead (POTUS did not respond personally, of course!). Standard blah-blah-blah about how bad it would be to treat cannabis the same as alcohol; regulated, taxed, etc… . I’m including a copy here- please feel free to copy/paste the links and actually read this doublespeak.

It’s really too bad that so much of the HOPE and CHANGE (remember these?) that was THE PROMISE has just turned out to be “business as usual”; campaign rhetoric.
False Hope?
Case in point, The War On Drugs. Guess this is one of those issues that IS bi-partisan; how is it they can agree on something soooo wrong and can’t seem to get together on things like budgets?Anyway, even if it is BS – it’s kinda cool to get a response on WH letterhead.This is not a political blog – religion & politics will not be a focus, but let’s be real – the cannabis issue IS PURELY POLITICAL. It is the PharmaIndustry, Textiles and Law Enforcement that have the most to lose; they are some of the biggest lobbyists in D.C.
It may be an uphill battle, but we’re “WINNING!” and they don’t like it – cornered animals fight the hardest, they know it’s just a matter of time and they’re doing everything possible to delay the inevitable.
Do whatever YOU can to help. Write letters to POTUS (you might get your own letter!), congress people, join anti-prohibition groups (NORMAL, Moms For Marijuana, MJ Policy Project, etc… – these can all be accessed thru our Google+ pages https://plus.google.com/u/0/106094574047029007159#106094574047029007159/ .
The sooner we act like responsible adults the sooner they’ll be forced to treat as a such.
